Berkeley High School Digital Filmmaking Classes

Assist instructor in digital filmmaking classes in the Berkeley High School Communication Arts and Sciences Program (CAS).
Activities include:
• Working directly with students on all phases of digital video production.
• Training students in digital cameras and editing equipment.
• Working with students in project conceptualization and development. Emphasis on social justice and critical thinking skills.
• Assisting instructor in classroom and equipment management..
Should have basic skills in digital filmmaking: use of camera, sound, lighting and editing.
Strong interest and ability to work with high school age students from all social and economic backgrounds in a large public high school.
Strong organizational and people skills.
-Time commitment: 5-18 hours per week
-Internships slots open Tues-Fri 10:30-11:30 and 12:15-4:30pm.
