    Job Description
    The person in this position will join a small, creative and dynamic team to assist in the creation of a San Francisco-based independent documentary film. You will be deeply immersed in the film project throughout the post-production, festival, marketing and distribution phases.

    This is a part-time, work-from-home position (with occasional errands) to start as soon as possible. Candidate would ideally be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    Our ideal candidate is:
    ● Interested in documentary film and art;
    ● Pays close attention to detail, and can responsibly manage multiple tasks;
    ● Organized, comfortable creating systems, and using systems already in place;
    ● Has good communication skills in person, on the phone, and by email;
    ● Takes initiative and is comfortable working both independently and with colleagues;
    ● Has working knowledge of Google Suite

    Tasks include:
    ● Assisting with post-production tasks on the film;
    ● Scheduling meetings and Zoom calls, keeping online calendars up to date;
    ● Drafting emails;
    ● Helping to coordinate and manage archival materials;
    ● Updating Squarespace website as necessary;
    ● Updating and keeping social media active;
    ● Maintaining our donor database;
    ● Tracking and managing database of film festival submissions;
    ● Researching as needed

    Hours: 10 hours per week, potential for more hours as needed based on the project’s progress.
