    Research Intern

    Interlock Media, based in East Cambridge, MA, is a non-profit film company that is dedicated to promoting solutions to environmental and human rights challenges. We support informed empowerment at the grassroots and policy level by producing educational, documentary and dramatic media works.

    If you have an interest in Historical and Ethnographic Documentary Filmmaking – this internship is for you!

    As the Research Intern you’ll be instrumental expanding our base of archival and historic film sources for a documentary on some of the key player in the rise of the modern conservation movement.

    You’ll also be researching specific subjects and narrative elements.

    Requires attention to detail and the ability to manage a database.

    Excellent communication skills and a pro-active attitude are ideal. Applicant should posses the ability to work independently, remain flexible and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.

    We are looking for a commitment of 12 – 20 hours / week.

    For our part, we are dedicated to your hands on training and participation from day one.

    The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required:
    ● Computer skills
    ● Strong Research Background
    ● Initiative and ability to work independently and in a group
