BAM/PFA Digital Media Team
Video Production Internship
Start date: Ongoing
The BAM/PFA Digital Media Team offers a Video Production internship for people interested in learning how digital media can support the educational mission of a museum and film archive. UC Berkeley students are given preference, but students from other institutions and members of the community are also eligible.
Video Production Internships
Video Production Interns attend and document art openings, movie premieres, artist lectures, and educational events given on campus and around the community.
Learning outcomes for a Video Production Intern:
Proper camera technique
Recording high-quality audio
Video capture and post-production skills
Video encoding for broadcast, the web, and Blu-ray disc
BAM/PFA Video Production Interns are expected to devote 6 to 9 hours per month to their semester-long internship. Interns will be appraised of their progress throughout their internship and will receive a letter of recommendation upon the successful completion of their internship.
