In this advanced screenwriting workshop each student develops a feature length, narrative screenplay or original pilot.
Writers present their material on a regular basis and revise their outlines/scenes based on feedback from their fellow writers. Lectures/discussions include story structure, scene work, dialogue, subtext and script cohesion.
Prerequisites: Film 180, Film 182 or equivalent classes. Priority is given to qualified Film & Media majors and seniors. Interested students should fill out an application form at https://forms.gle/J4mxKcSttBEBTiHs6
The deadline to apply is Friday, December 1st. Applicants will be notified of enrollment by Friday, December 15th. Due to the limited space in the class, all students who apply should enroll in a backup course.
