  • Focus on the Narrative Short

    This hands on course explores the process of making narrative shorts using digital video production. Students will write, pre-visualize, direct and edit three short films and crew on an additional six class projects. Scripts and cuts are presented in a workshop setting. Lecture topics include how to write an effective short script, pre-visualization, directing actors and camera, continuity and coverage, composition, lighting/sound design, editing aesthetics. Prerequisites: Consent of instructor required. This class is open to juniors and seniors with production experience (Film 26 or equivalent). Preference is given to Film & Media and Art Practice majors. Interested students should attend the first class session.
