Bio

Alex Creighton (he/they) is an ACLS Emerging Voices Postdoctoral Fellow at U.C. Berkeley, affiliated with the Art of Writing Program. He works in eighteenth-century literature; women’s, gender, and sexuality studies; animal studies; and the comparative arts. He has taught courses in English, Film & Media, WGS, Composition, and Creative Writing. He earned his Ph.D. in English and Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality from Harvard University in 2021 and his M.F.A. from Johns Hopkins in 2013.
